“The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Actaeon is relatively approachable for this site, where the wines tend to be a bit richer and darker. Cedar, tobacco, licorice and mint add pretty aromatic top notes to the reddish fruit. There is a lovely softness to the 2017 today, but beneath that the tannins are just a bit gritty, which will become more evident over time. The 2017 is Aaron Pott's final Cabernet from the Quixote vineyard.”
